President of Intermezzo: Friends of the Austin Civic Orchestra

The President of Intermezzo: Friends of the Austin Civic Orchestra is a volunteer who recruits and manages people who staff:

• box office ticket sales, program distribution, merchandise sales, and the acquisition of audience contact information;
• receptions for players and audience members, typically including a season opener reception and Amster competition and concert receptions;
• a Zilker concerts concession stand, merchandise and raffle sales table, information table, and donations;
• additional activities and events proposed by the President or requested by the Orchestra's Board and staff, including audience surveys and fund-raising.

The Austin Civic Orchestra (ACO) is a non-profit civic organization devoted to bringing high-quality music to the community and providing a musical outlet for professional and non-professional musicians alike. Although this is not a paid position, admission to the orchestra performances is free. Please contact the ACO Board President at ACOBoard@austincivicorchestra.org if interested.
