Forward March!
Details
On June 8th and 9th, the ACO will present its annual Zilker Park Pops Concert series. History of the March is the theme for 2012 with quite a collection of fine orchestral marches slated to be performed. Narration will be provided by Paul Gaffney, Dean of The Sarofim School of Fine Arts at Southwestern University. Featured as part of this program is the popular annual raffle drawing for a chance to conduct the ACO's finale performance of Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever. These concerts are performed FREE to the public at the Zilker Hillside Theater. Bring your blankets or your lawn chairs and be prepared for a toe-tapping performance.
